Kracon Aircraft was established in 1972 and is one of the oldest
established paint shops in Northern California.
  Kracon is licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration and our
FAA repair station number is NU3R723L.

The founders of Kracon Aircraft, Edwin Krass (Kra) and Robert Coon (Con), have extensive experience in the refinishing business, starting with military aircraft.  In 1972, they established their own painting business concentrating on private aircraft.  Kracon Aircraft’s manager, Terry O. Wingfield, has been with the company since 1984 and is familiar with all aspects of aircraft refinishing.

In a recent issue of PROFESSIONAL PILOT Magazine, only three paint
shops nationwide were mentioned and Kracon was one of the three.
